What is hi5?
In my day, it was holding up your hand with the "5" fingers extended to a friend, who would gently slap their hand in the same position, against yours "hi"up in the air. It was a greeting, a good going, an I agree. I guess it meant the two people were feeling and or thinking the same. I have seen people still do it. was basically a "black thing". Of course, everyone else borrowed too.
